Fundraiser dinner is this Saturday at Zoar Baptist

Pastor John Snow and Bill Bailey from Zoar Baptist Church will be going on a mission trip to Ghana this January. This is an evangelistic trip that will help native pastors and laymen reach their community with the gospel. Salem Baptist Church is a local church with a global mission team that plans and coordinates trips with BGVA to Africa. Salem invites other local churches to participate and Pastor Snow and Bailey are excited to be included in this important mission.

Zoar is surrounding them with support by sponsoring this fundraiser dinner at the church fellowship hall on Saturday, January 12, at 5:30 p.m. The dinner of turkey, ham, green beans, mashed potatoes, broccoli, bread and dessert will be served homestyle by Zoar’s men. Tickets are available by calling Kyle at 804-480-0893.

No charge for tickets but you will need one to secure a seat at the table, said Kyle Jenkins, church deacon. Donations will be solicited after the speaker, Dean Miller from BGVA, gives a short presentation about the mission. Also, door prizes will be given to someone at each table for fun!
“We are grateful our pastor and Bill were called to serve others and invite the community to join us in our celebration,” commented a church volunteer.

Zoar Baptist Church is located in Deltaville on Rt. 33 next to DCA building and pool. “Call and reserve your seat now for a delicious dinner and great fellowship!” said the church volunteer.
