Free dental services offered

Over 50 dentists along with numerous dental assistants and other volunteers will fill the auxiliary gym at Gloucester High School on Saturday, February 13, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to treat the dental problems of area adults and children.

This “Missions of Mercy” (MOM) program of the Virginia Dental Association (VDA) wants to help the low income, uninsured, under-insured and/or unemployed residents of the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck area by offering free fillings, extractions, teeth cleanings and other services.

Although the low-income population is being targeted, no one seeking dental assistance at the February 13 clinic, regardless of income, will be turned away, noted Dr. Harris.

Also, no ID will be required to receive the free services.

For more information, contact Sharon or Kelly at 804-642-4893.
