Escobrook plans revival, homecoming
Escobrook Baptist Church in Mascot will celebrate its annual Homecoming Day on Sunday, August 4, at 11 a.m. Church pastor Rev. Arthur Roane will deliver the morning message.
Music will be rendered by the “Roane Sisters,” originally from King and Queen County. Dinner will be served immediately following the morning worship service. The afternoon service will begin at 3 p.m. with guest speaker Rev. Dr. Burrell Smith Jr., pastor of New Vine Baptist Church, Charles City.
Revival services will be Tuesday through Thursday, August 6-8, with prayer and praise beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Tuesday night speaker will be Rev. John Gresham of Trinity Baptist Church, King William. The Wednesday night speaker will be Rev. James Hill Sr. of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Bruington. The Thursday night speaker will be Rev. Dr. Toni Shackleford Williams, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, Hockley. Everyone is invited to attend.
