Contemporary worship continues at Clarksbury
“If traditional worship is not your bag, come try something new at Clarksbury United Methodist Church,” said Rev. Eric Vaudt.
The church’s new, contemporary worship gathers on Saturdays at 5 p.m. where participants sing upbeat and meaningful songs while listening to, and for, the Word of God, all while eating cookies and drinking lemonade or coffee. This is an informal service but still a time to fellowship with neighbors.
“While summer might be in the past, this service will continue, and you can wear flip-flops for as long as you dare, and don’t forget to bring a friend!” said Rev. Vaudt.
Clarksbury UMC is on Route 33 at Hardyville.
