Christ Church to dedicate parish hall
On Sunday, July 6, The Rt. Rev. David Jones, Suffragan Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia, will preside at a joint 10 a.m. Service of Communion at Christ Church in Middlesex County.
Afterward, Bishop Jones will be guest of honor at a reception and “Burning of the Mortgage” celebrating the final payment on the church’s new parish hall. The building was paid for thanks to the generous donations and gifts of members and friends, including a gift from the estate of the late Miss Elizabeth Leaf of Urbanna.
