Christ Church announces Lenten Wednesday services
On Wednesday evenings during Lent (February 20, February 27, March 6 and March 13), Christ Church Parish (Episcopal) will sponsor a program series of worship, dinner and education.
A traditional twilight Service of Evening Prayer (Evensong) will be held at 6 p.m. This ancient quiet service of chant and prayer is a time to “feed the soul.” At 6:45 p.m. a simple Lenten Supper of Soup and Bread will “feed the body.” At 7:15 p.m. an education program will “feed the mind.” No reservations are required and all are invited to any or all portions of the programs.
