Before Christmas, the then four-and-a-half month-old girl fought for her life after she contracted salmonella poisoning and bacterial meningitis. (Photo by Larry Chowning)|
Ava Grace Harris is a 6-month-old baby who recently overcame salmonella poisoning and meningitis after several days in the hospital.
The dinner menu will be homemade chili, baked potato with cheese or sour cream, cornbread, tea or coffee and homemade desserts. The suggested donation for the dinner is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Carry-outs are available from 4:30 to 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
For tickets, contact Vicki Hogge at 776-6956 or Kristin Harris at 776-0984. Checks should be made payable to Lower United Methodist Church with “Ava Grace” on the memo line.
