Black History Celebration is Friday

The annual Black History Celebration for the Southside Rappahannock Baptist Association (SRBA) and Its Allied Bodies will be held on Saturday, February 9, at 9 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church in Saluda where Rev. Calvin Rideau is the pastor.

This event will be a prayer breakfast, and featured will be selections from the Young Peoples’ Choir of First Baptist Church, Hockley, and the sharing of histories from three SRBA churches. “We will have good food and the opportunity for good fellowship so mark your calendar for this outing,” said an SRBA spokesperson.

For more information, call 804-769-2222.
