Benefit concert is Saturday at Lebanon

On Saturday, July 28, at 5 p.m. a concert will be held at Lebanon Baptist Church in Saluda. This musical program will consist of various choirs, men choruses, and soloists from Richmond, Williamsburg, Gloucester, Middlesex and many of the other surrounding areas. This concert is free to everyone and is a community unity event.

Dr. Teresa Sutherlin is hosting the event to raise money to increase the reward money for the Reggie Carter Fund. Dr. Sutherlin stated, “Reggie has not been seen since May 24, 2018. He has a family that loves and misses him greatly. We especially desire prayers for his son Reggie Jr., daughter Leticia, and sisters Pam Page and Michelle Marsh. We are asking any choir or musical groups interested in participating to please come out. We are also asking anyone that desires to make a donation to send it to Lebanon Baptist Church, P.O. Box 404, Saluda, VA 23149. Please make all checks payable to the Reggie Carter Fund.”

There is also a fund set up for Carter at Sonabank in Middlesex. Anyone desiring more information can call 833-1619 or 815-2327.
