Alzheimer’s Association to host forum

Gloucester County and Middle Peninsula residents are invited to take part in a community forum on Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. The forum provides an opportunity for residents of all ages to come together to ask questions about the disease, share their personal experiences, learn about available resources, and discover volunteer opportunities to support families affected by the disease.

“We understand the importance of Alzheimer’s disease care and support programs and services in Gloucester County,” said Tina Thomas, director of programs and services for the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Richmond Chapter.

Working together with Gloucester County area volunteers, the Alzheimer’s Association can ensure families have the resources needed to face the many challenges associated with the disease.

The forum will be held from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, February 1, at the Gloucester County Library, 6920 Main Street, Gloucester. Refreshments will be served.

To register, call 800-272-3900 or visit https://action.alz.org/PersonifyEbusiness/Events/alz/MeetingRegistration.aspx?productId=41612520.
