All Saints service set for Sunday at Philippi
The public is invited to a Service of Remembrance this Saturday, November 1, at 7 p.m. at Philippi Christian Church in Deltaville. The service is being held on the traditional date of All Saints Day.
“It will be a celebration and thanksgiving for all those we’ve lost in the last year. Everyone will be asked the name of the person they’d like to remember, and they can bring a picture to put on the altar if they like,” said Fay Leach, worship chairperson.
Philippi associate pastor Lew McPherren will preach.
