The Church of the Visitation to dedicate new expansion Sunday
The new alterations and additions to the existing facility resulted in expanded seating for worship, a new Reservation Chapel, a new Reconciliation Chapel, a remodeled sacristy and worship space, a new Daily Mass Chapel, new administration spaces, and accessible restrooms for the physically handicapped.

‘Christ Regional Youth Encounter’ is Sunday
Last year’s event brought over 500 youth and adults from all over the area and a larger turnout is expected this year, which will feature youth speaker Craig Tackett and worship band “The Jonathan Project.”

Lower United Methodist Church at Hartfield recognized and installed the 2008-09 Sunday school teachers and secretary on Sept. 7.

Country’s founders and patriots to be honored at Christ Church
The plaque commemorates the 18 founders (residents of Virginia by May 13, 1657) and the six patriots of the American Revolution buried in the Christ Church Parish churchyard.
