College student gives 14 inches to Locks of Love
Ashton had two reasons for the haircut request: it was hot and he was using too much shampoo. That hair has since become a donation to Locks of Love. Ashton is a member of Clarksbury United Methodist Church where his father is pastor.

This week the “Sentinel Hammer” continues its work on fund raising for Habitat for Humanity (HFH) Middlesex Inc. HFH people like the sound of hammers; it means that pieces of wood are going together to be held by nails. The wood and nails can go into many shapes, but for HFH people the shape is to be a house, which a family turns into a home.
