Free soup day is Jan. 23 at Clarksbury
Clarksbury United Methodist Church in Deltaville will offer free soup on Wednesday, January 23, from 4:30-6 p.m. Eat-in or take out will be available. “Come out and join us for some free homemade soup and bread, and good fellowship,” said a church spokesperson.

Healthy eating classes planned at Zoar Baptist
Classes in healthy eating will begin at Zoar Baptist Church in Deltaville on January 23. Those interested in learning more about healthy eating, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, or weight-control are encouraged to attend.


Saluda Baptist Children in Action help feed the world
imageThe Children In Action (CIA) of Saluda Baptist Church have been doing “Feed the World” missions this past year. This mission is achieved through Samaritan’s Purse and the CIA wanted to help feed families by providing ways for them to feed themselves.


Unitarians to discuss ‘Using God’
On Sunday, January 13, Bob Weekley will speak at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock (UUFR). His topic will be “Using God: The ancient practice of using God for mortal purposes is alive and well.”
