imageThis past week we had Groundhog Day, a once a year event about a little guy that comes out of the ground for a few minutes, then disappears for another 365 days. There he is—big news—then out of site and soon forgotten unless the weather is extremely bad, then he may be blamed for that until the weather is better.

Harmony Grove youth to have spaghetti dinner
On Saturday, February 11, beginning at 5:30 p.m. the youth of Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Topping, will have a Sweetheart Dinner. The dinner will include spaghetti, tossed salad, dessert and beverage for $5.


Public invited to experience ‘24 Hours’ at Lower Church
Lower United Methodist Church at Hartfield invites the public to experience “24 Hours That Changed The World” each Sunday from February 12 through March 25. The group will meet in the fellowship hall with coffee and friends, and then begin its walk of hope and courage with Jesus through His greatest hours.


‘Music and Meditation’ to be topic
On Sunday, February 12, David Duhon will present “Music, Meditation, Breathing and Motion” at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock (UUFR). Duhon will present the music of Bach for cello while exploring breath, meditation and movement.
