Britt Nicole to headline Christian music festival
The Northern Neck Foundation for Christ is organizing and promoting its third Christian music community concert. “Northern Neck RocktoberFest 2008” will be held from 2 to 10 p.m. October 4 on the mansion grounds at Belle Isle State Park in Lancaster County.

Blessing of the Animals set for Oct. 5 at Philippi & Christ Church
The service is held in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, who was known for his deep reverence for all of God’s creation, and particularly for animals. Everyone in the community is invited to bring any animal they wish to be blessed by the presiding pastors.
