Unitarians to discuss ‘Two Ministers’ Sunday
On Sunday, March 11, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock (UUFR), Rev. Andrew Millard of the UU Fellowship of the Peninsula in Newport News will speak on “Where Do We Come From? A Tale of Two Ministers.”

Center Cross Church plans spring revival
Center Cross Church of God will host its annual spring revival services starting Sunday, March 18, at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. The revival will continue on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of that week at 7 p.m. All are invited to attend. Evangelist Bishop Clifton West from Richmond will be the guest speaker at all services.


Lenten lunch series continues at Clarksbury
Clarksbury United Methodist Church will continue its annual Lenten lunch series on Wednesday, March 7. Lunch will begin at noon and will be served by Clarksbury Church members. Following lunch, those attending will hear from Rev. Jim Tinney, former Clarksbury pastor, and Rev. Bill Palmer of Philippi Christian Church willspeak on March 14.


Hands Across Middlesex
In 1992 Hands Across Middlesex Interfaith Outreach Inc. was created. In that same year, the Redskins won the Super Bowl; Tiger Woods at age 16 became the youngest PGA golfer in 35 years; Bosnia became a nation; white South Africans voted to end apartheid; and Bill Clinton was elected president. A lot has changed in 20 years.
