Habitat for Humanity
imageThis past week M&W Construction company’s truck and trash trailer was once again seen at the construction site of the Habitat for Humanity (HFH) house that is being built. Donations may be mailed to HFH Middlesex, P.O. Box 492, Hartfield, VA 23071.

Unitarians to host ‘Soap Box Sunday’
On Sunday, January 22, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock (UUFR,) Bob Weekly will moderate: “Soap Box Sunday.” This is an opportunity to share inspirations, passions and insights. Volunteers will have 3 to 4 minutes to speak on a subject of their choosing.

Unitarians to write ‘A Novel Idea’
On Sunday, January 15, Rev. Alane Cameron Miles will speak at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock (UUFR). Her subject will be “A Novel Idea.” Rev. Miles, who has taken part in National Novel Writing Month for two years, believes that if we understood our spiritual lives more as a novel, we would be better at it.

Installation service set for C.L. Lane
There will be an installation service at Immanuel Baptist Church, Saluda, for Apostle Cornelius L. Lane at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 22. Leading the service will be pastor Stephen Burrell of Gloucester. Lane will become pastor of Zion Branch Baptist Church.
