Unitarians to discuss ‘comfort’
On Sunday, January 5, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock (UUFR), Margaret Sequeira, director of Lifespan Faith Development at Williamsburg Unitarian Universalists, will present “Comfort Zone.”

Fruit orders due
Kilmarnock Seventh-Day Adventist Church will continue its annual citrus fruit sale January through March 2014. Orders for January should be called in by January 6 to 435-1252, 435-1371 or 562-652-0866. Orders are to be picked up on January 16. Dried fruit and nuts and baked goods also will be available.


New pastor joins Urbanna Baptist Church
imageThe Rev. Jonathan H. Davis, a native of Texas, arrived last week to begin serving as the full-time pastor at Urbanna Baptist Church. Jonathan and his wife, Audrey, have a 20-month old son, Eli, and are expecting another child in February. They are residing in the church parsonage.


All Saints plans ‘Service of Lessons and Carols’
All Saints Anglican Church will have a “Service of Lessons and Carols” on Sunday, December 22, at 2 p.m. to which the public is cordially invited. The service is one of Christian worship celebrating the birth of Jesus in nine short Bible readings interspersed with anthems and the congregational singing of familiar Christmas carols.
