Clarksbury Methodist to distribute food this Saturday
Clarksbury United Methodist Church on Route 33 in Hardyville will have their winter food pantry distribution on Saturday, February 18, from 9-11 a.m. Food recipients are asked to enter the church through the front doors where they will be greeted.

Daffodil expert to speak at Historic Christ Church
Local favorite and renowned daffodil expert Brent Heath will present a talk about “Heirloom Bulbs for Restoration Gardens“ at Historic Christ Church & Museum in Weems on Sunday, February 26, at 2 p.m.


RCC ponders King’s dream on MLK Day
image“Have we achieved the dream?” asked Tyrone Fuller Jr. in his Martin Luther King Day presentation at Rappahannock Community College on January 16. Most of the audience answered, “No,” saying that although progress has been made, there is still much to be done. Achieving the dream is an ongoing process, they said.


RCC-RLL to look at Anglican history
The L.E. Smoot Memorial Library in King George will be the venue for an examination of “The Anglican Church in Eighteenth Century Virginia, 1690-1776” by Rev. Dr. Christopher M. Agnew.
