Immanuel plans Gospel Sing-out
On Sunday, January 31, at 4 p.m. the musicians of Immanuel Baptist Church, Saluda, and “Brother Jerry Manning and Company,” will sponsor their second Gospel Sing-out. Groups participating include “The Echoes” of Gloucester County; Brother Brown on harmonica; Brother Lloyd Jones and the Grafton Male Chorus of Yorktown; and others.

The 21st annual Essex County community celebration of the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be held at Angel Visit Baptist Church in Dunnsville on Monday, January 18, at 7 p.m.
