On Saturday, May 18, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. the Chancel Choir of Harmony Grove Baptist Church will host a homemade spaghetti dinner with salad, bread and dessert for $5.

Urbanna Baptist Church will honor its “dedicated first responders” on Sunday, May 19, at the 11 a.m. worship service. This elite group includes members of the county fire departments, rescue squads, ladies auxiliaries and law enforcement officers.

Gospel dinner and musical to benefit The Promise Academy
Laydsing Productions LLC, in association with Shiloh Baptist Church Youth Ministry of Shiloh Baptist Church, Reedville, will present “The Men of Gospel Dinner and Musical.” The event will be held in the T.W. Morris Engagement Hall in Reedville at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 19.

Unitarians to dedicate memorial area Sunday
On Sunday, May 12, at 10:30 a.m., the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock (UUFR) will celebrate the dedication of its “Pathways of Remembrance Memorial Area” and will honor the 10 members who are currently memorialized there.
