Urbanna Baptist Church plans Memorial Service
As part of this Sunday’s 11 a.m. service, Urbanna Baptist Church will have a Memorial Service to honor the men and women of the country’s military and to honor those who have given their lives serving their country. Church Pastor Jimmy Maroney will officiate.

Methodists do mission work in Louisiana
On Saturday, April 17, a group of 12 left Lower United Methodist Church to do mission work in Louisiana. Three of the group were from the Warsaw area, two from the Mathews area, and seven from Middlesex.

‘Jefferson’ and ‘Henry’ to debate religious freedom
Portrayed by Colonial Williamsburg interpreters Bill Barker and Richard Schumann, Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry will appear at Christ Church on Wednesday, May 26, at 7 p.m. in a dramatic living history presentation.
