Escobrook Black History Program set
Escobrook Baptist Church in Mascot will celebrate its annual Black History Program and Familyaand Friends Day on Sunday, February 4, at 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be Alvin Rayfield Gresham, associate minister of St. Luke Baptist Church, West Point.

Local Bar Association helps people in need
The Middle Peninsula Bar Association, the area’s professional organization for lawyers, completed its first “Lawyers Aren’t Turkeys” Christmas Dinner Project on December 21.   


Spring Hill to continue Bible study
Spring Hill Baptist Church in Mathews will continue January Bible Study in the book of 1st Peter, “Strangers in a Secular World,” on Sunday, January 21, at 11 a.m. and at the evening study class at 6 p.m. Pastor Dr. Chuck McDaniel will be the teacher of both classes and all are welcome to attend.    


Greater Grace service planned
Greater Grace Baptist Church in Saluda will have its worship service at 1 p.m. this Sunday, January 21. Bishop Carlton Johnson will deliver the message. Sunday school starts at 11:30 a.m.
