RCC ponders King’s dream on MLK Day
“Have we achieved the dream?” asked Tyrone Fuller Jr. in his Martin Luther King Day presentation at Rappahannock Community College on January 16. Most of the audience answered, “No,” saying that although progress has been made, there is still much to be done. Achieving the dream is an ongoing process, they said.

Rev. Dr. John Wright Jr. of Williamsburg will be the guest speaker at the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday, February 12, at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 10256 Indian Rd., Gloucester. The youth choir will sing. All are invited.

The title of the sermon to be given by Dr. Chuck McDaniel at the 11 a.m. worship on Sunday, February 12, at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Mathews will be “War Within!” (Gal. 5:16-22). After the service, a covered-dish dinner will be held to recognize the work of the WMU for WMU Focus Week. Special music will be by Earl Robins. Everyone is invited.
