Clarksbury plans new Bible study
If God is all powerful, and if each one of us is a beloved child of God, then how can God allow tragedy and suffering to infest His creation? The public is invited to join Clarksbury United Methodist Church members at the latest Bible study from Adam Hamilton titled “Why? Making Sense of God’s Will.”

Baptist Women’s Chorale to perform at Hermitage
On Saturday, September 24, at 6 p.m., Hermitage Baptist Church will host the Virginia Baptist Women’s Chorale as it presents a concert titled “Our Testimony Of Faith Through Song.” In its 35th concert season, the chorale is composed of women that serve in a music leadership role in their churches.


Virginia Voices to visit Glebe Landing Baptist
imageGlebe Landing Baptist Church has two special events planned for the weekend of September 24- 25. On Saturday afternoon, there will be an ice cream social at 4 p.m. featuring ice cream and a variety of toppings. On Sunday afternoon, Virginia Voices International will sing at 4 p.m.


Ladies Bible study starts tonight
‘Espresso With Esther’ by Sandra Glahn will begin Thursday, September 15, from 7-9 p.m. at Cafe By The Bay in Deltaville. This five-week ladies Bible study will be led by Onna Grimm. Short daily segments are designed to fit busy lifestyles using the New English Translation of the Bible inside a workbook format.
