Unitarians to discuss ‘Guns and Violence’
In light of the tragedy in Newtown, Aurora, Tucson, Fort Hood, Virginia Tech, Columbine, Oak Creek and so many more, how do we actively and respectively engage in the efforts to end gun violence?

Lenten lunches begin Feb. 27 at Clarksbury
Clarksbury United Methodist Church in Deltaville has resumed its annual Lenten Lunch Series. Lunch begins promptly at noon and is $6. Proceeds benefit the St. Andrews Society Potato Project and Hands Across Middlesex.


Historic Christ Church Volunteer Fair is Feb. 27
The Volunteer Council of Historic Christ Church in Weems met recently to plan its annual Volunteer Opportunity Fair, which will be held Wednesday, February 27, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.


Christ Church Lenten programs continue Feb. 27
On Wednesday, February 27, Christ Church Parish (Episcopal) will sponsor the second of its Lenten Wednesday programs of worship, dinner and education. Evensong at 6 p.m. will be followed by a simple dinner of soup and bread at 6:30 p.m., and at 7 p.m. there will be an education program.
