Clarksbury Men’s dinner to benefit Heart Havens
Clarksbury United Methodist Church Men will hold a pork chop dinner on Friday, July 20, from 5-7 p.m. to benefit Heart Havens. The menu will be grilled pork chops, green beans, boiled potatoes, applesauce, homemade rolls, coffee or tea, and homemade pies for dessert. Takeouts will be available.

‘No Strings Attached’ to perform at Spring Hill
“No Strings Attached,” the puppet group from Urbanna Baptist Church, will perform at 6 p.m. at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Mathews this Sunday, July 15, at 6 p.m. A pizza dinner will follow the program.


Jenzen to address Unitarians
On Sunday, July 15, Eric Jenzen will speak at the Unitarian Fellowship of the Rappahannock (UUFR). His subject will be “Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part: The Native American Imperative for Cyber Connection.


Church of Visitation seeks donations for Super Yard Sale
Believed to be the largest yard sale in the area, it is held under the protection of tents and is heavily attended by participants from the five surrounding counties, as well as a number of visitors from Richmond. A food booth is on site.
