Missionary to speak at Urbanna Methodist
The only United Methodist missionary working in Malaysia is Rev. Charles Tran. He is on furlough and will speak this Saturday, April 14, at 7 p.m. and this Sunday, April 15, at the 11 a.m. service at Urbanna United Methodist Church. At both services there will be a freewill offering for Rev. Tran’s mission work.

Unitarians to discuss ‘end-of-life’ decisions
On Sunday, April 15, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock (UUFR), Hank Stupi will speak on “End-of-Life Decisions and Conversations.” “What modern medicine is capable of doing is what 20 years ago was considered science fiction,” said Dr. David Muller, dean of medical education at Mount Sinai.


Benefit dinner is April 20 at Philippi Christian Church
The Wisdom Circle Group of Philippi Christian Church in Deltaville will host a spaghetti dinner on Friday, April 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to raise money to help defray medical expenses for an active member facing a second battle with breast cancer.


Do you have guardrails in your life?
A six-week video/discussion study titled “Guardrails: Avoiding Regrets In Your Life” by Andy Stanley will be held on Wednesdays from April 18 through May 23 at Zoar Baptist Church in Deltaville. The sessions will be from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. The video will run 30 to 40 minutes and 20 minutes of discussion will follow.
