Middlesex football game moved to Thursday night

hurricane iconThe Middlesex High School home varsity football game against Mathews has been switched from this Friday to Thursday, September 2, at 7 p.m. because of concern over Hurricane Earl.

The hurricane is expected to affect the Mid-Atlantic region between North Carolina and New Jersey late this week.

Chargers athletic director Brad Norris said school officials are trying to get the game played before the effects of the hurricane hit this area.
